For many years I had a dream and pursued it but gave up as soon as it got too stressful for me. That is obstacles that I couldn't handle. I've spent quite a few years working on myself, my spiritual self and I'm seeing why I would always give up on my dreams. One of the things that's been helping a lot is a book titled "Battlefield of the Mind" written by Joyce Meyer. I strongly encourage anyone who is trying to build a business at home to read this book. Work on your spiritual self and let God lead you. Ever since I've been doing that I've become a lot happier, more patient and calm and less controlling. Every now and then satan comes in and tries to take me down but God is always there for me encouraging me to come back and to shove satan out the door.

This is me being transparent but I'm just hoping I can help someone to pursue their dreams and finish it!

Great Tutorial On How To Make Your Own Jewelry Gift Box

When my son was in elementary school, I think the 1st grade, one of the crafts he made was a gift box made from an old Christmas Card. I still have the box and he's almost 21yrs. old now!

Still, I am one of those who would like to identify my gift(s?) and become prosperous using my gifts. Since a child I have always been creative and love to make things. Put things together and make it pretty. So there are thousands of others that have this gift so how do I create a niche? Well, I'm still working on that in the meantime I'm just having fun with my all time favorite holiday, Christmas. Yes, I Love Christmas 24/7 and this message that Steve Harvey shares with us feels like a Christmas gift that can be enjoyed all year round.

Because it is exactly what Mary Ellen Chase says in her famous quote to children, "it is a state of mind."

For me that rings true in so many ways. I Love Christmas 24/7! Everything, crafts, recipes, music, movies, cartoons, pictures you name it.

"State of mind" to me is thinking positive and good thoughts which I have just learned how to do, really, these past maybe 7 or 8 months, when I first started my Facebook page, I Love Christmas 24/7.

When I need to get uplifted I go to my page and I look Christmas things up to post and I invariably get in a very different mindset then before. It's like taking a walk that Mary Ellen Chase quotes about too, it leaves me hopeful for better days to come.

Sometimes the Holidays can be so dizzying, fun dizzy though but everything is crammed at the end of the year and sometimes when it's all over it's like...what happened?! Where am I?!

I feel different just reading this quote! Does this mean I don't have to take the walk? Actually, I rather fancy walking. In fact, that photo is of my daughter (L) and grandson (R). We're at Keopuolani Park on Maui walking, talking, sliding down the hills on cardboard (not me, LOL!). It was a very fun day and thought this photo matched the quote.

Easter Decorating On My Mind

Spring is on it's way and just like every Holiday I have the best time looking up different crafts and decorating ideas. Alright now here is the Easter candle display I found at Staying Close To Home. There are no instructions and the source link provided is not working but it's very simple to make. Just get some wide goblets, place some glittered plastic eggs first then some colored grass. Turn the goblet upside down and use the bottom of the goblet to hold your votive candle. Bamboo Rain Fragrance Candle

This candle fragrance takes me back to my childhood. My younger sister and I live on the island of Hawaii in the town of Kurtistown. We had so much fruit plants, lilikoi and guava is what I remember the most because my auntie and I would always make jam out of it.

But in the back was a vast bamboo forest that my younger sister and I would always take an escape to. It was beautiful and we would pretend we were in another world of our own making.
